Hurricane Sandy (Oct 2012) and the weakening eye of the storm blew directly over my kitchens in Rigaud Quebec. I had in my possession 100 pounds of fresh Red Savina Habanero peppers that had just arrived from Meadowview Farm in Pennsylvania just a week before. When I saw Sandy flood out Meadowview and then pass directly overhead, I had to pay attention. That was when my second Hurricane was conceived. I added some of the Red Savinas (hottest pepper in the world 1994-2006 ) to my Original Hurricane Mash and Hurricane Sandy was born.
